we begin with several breaking stories. first, outside san francisco, at least a dozen homes have been destroyed by an enormous fire. flames could be seen shooting up to 60 feet in the air at about 9:00. this happened after the ground shook from an explosion. officials say there may be a problem with a natural gas line. dozens of people have been taken to hospitals. no reports of death. in philadelphia, two were killed and third person shot when a female worker began shooting inside a factory. a woman locked herself inside an office in a kraft food company. also, in california, a judge has ruled that the military's ban on gay service member is

disabled passenger late last month. 59-year-old samuel kingston grabbed the woman as he escorted her off the van. he said, you're hot, do you have a boyfriend. >> they took the individual off his route. suspended without pay. >> reporter: he works for challenger transportation. that company provides roughly 1100 access van drivers. in a statement, an official said in part, every driver must go through a back ground check prior to employment. we believe the incidents of abuse are isolated. >> we're satisfied with the fact they have an adequate screening process. you get a couple of bad apples when you have this many employees. >> reporter: this is the fourth time sexual allegations have been made against drivers in the last year.
